Brooke Shields guest-starred in season two of Friends as Erika, Joey's stalker, in 1996, and decided to imitate Matthew Perry on set in an attempt to fit in with the cast.

The Mother of the Bride actress, who just released her new memoir, Brooke Shields Is Not Allowed to Get Old, appeared on Monday's (January 13) episode of The View where she revealed that she once made Perry (who played Chandler Bing in the beloved series) laugh by recreating one of his risqué pranks.

"You go onto a show that’s so well-oiled and so successful and I was such a fan: all I wanted was for them to like me. I just wanted to be funny, but I wasn’t in the group, you know? They were very tight. They had all these inside jokes."

Shields continued, shining a spotlight on one of Perry's favorite stunts to pull on set that would likely get someone "canceled" today.

"He would — you couldn’t do it now, you'd get canceled — he would run and throw himself on the floor in front of a girl and pretend to look up her skirt. Again, you'd get canceled today."

The Endless Love standout decided that, to get the rest of the cast to like her, she would repeat the stunt with Perry himself.

"I ran so fast from one end of the stage all the way to the other, threw myself on the ground, and pretended to look up his pant leg. And everybody was quiet and I’m on the floor and I’m like, ‘I just suck! This is so… I look like a crazy person!'"

Despite the many rug burns she obtained from sliding on the floor, Shields' attempt to fit in was successful, as she made Perry laugh.

"All of a sudden he started laughing and they all started laughing and he said, ‘How did you know to do that?' And I said, 'I’ve just been watching you and I just wanted to say thank you for giving us such humor.'"

After all, anything for Dr. Drake Ramoray, (not to be confused with his evil twin, Hans Ramoray) as we're sure Erika would agree.
