An Irish judge excused a 54-year-old man from jury duty after he revealed that it was his "first time in love." Journalist Sarah Jane Murphy relayed the exchange to her followers on Twitter, in which the potential juror tried to explain how that wouldn't be able to serve because of a planned trip for the weekend. The judge quickly reminded him that there's no court on Saturday and Sunday, but the unidentified man explained, "I’m away til Monday. I’m 54, a bachelor & it’s my 1st time in love." The judge broke out into a broad smile and said, "Then you GO and you GO with my blessing." (Independent)
