Tips: Working out when it's cold!

Let's face it: Finding the motivation to workout can be a challenge at times, ESPECIALLY when it's cold out. When you're warm and cozy in your bed, sometimes the last thing you want to do is get up and go out in the cold to run or drive to the gym. Here are some tips to finding motivation to workout when the weather isn't great!

Tell yourself you'll perform better. Studies show that working out in the cold helps your body get more out of your workouts!Book a class. I did this a lot when I first started working out. If I paid for a class or people are expecting me to be there, I'll be more likely to go. Wake up early. Although it sounds just as unbearable as working out in the cold, getting in some exercise in the morning will help you feel relaxed all day. You can also try laying out your exercise clothes the night before.Make your commute better. I remember when I used to drive to the gym at 4:30 every morning. I always made sure I had a great playlist to get me motivated and some pre-workout to sip on to start getting me pumped by the time I arrived. Or you could listen to a podcast you like!SOURCE
