While travelling her daughter got sick. Rather than running out and getting another expensive thermometer, her sister gave her some fever stickers.
It lets you monitor your child's fever without waking them up to check it.
Brilliant.
It certainly doesn't replace thermometer, but it can help. The more your child sleeps, the better than can feel.
